Primary Literacy with TutorMate
About the project
Following school closures and disrupted learning in academic year 2019-20, Tutorfair Foundation worked with TutorMate to recruit volunteer readers who are able to support young learners with limited access to books.
Through this pilot, a group of 20 Tutorfair volunteers joined TutorMate’s programme, helping them to reach students that would otherwise have missed out.
The success of this collaboration has led to an expanded project over several years.
