When parents notice the progress
The school term is coming to a close, and students are looking forward to summer. For many of the learners at Tutorfair Foundation, it marks the end of a year of moving past challenges, building confidence and working towards academic goals with their tutors.
For the team at Tutorfair Foundation, there’s no bigger reward than seeing our students grow. But the highlight reel is when parents come back to share the changes that they’ve seen.
“Rita* really enjoys her maths circle with Mel. It’s been a lifeline for her this year. She has struggled socially at school, so to have a weekly connection with a small group of like-minded, maths-loving, peers has been a blessing. Rita completed the UK Junior Maths Challenge for the first time last term and came away saying it was the most fun ever! She achieved a Silver Award and got the highest score in the school.”
“Thank you so much for all the wonderful Maths Circle sessions this year. Mark* has really enjoyed them and has learned so much. We truly appreciate all the time and effort you have put into making the sessions so engaging and inspiring.”
“Thanks for everything this year. I particularly appreciate yours and Alvaro’s patience mid-year when Stan* was struggling. He is engaging better again now.”
Messages like these remind us of why we do what we do. They inspire us to keep innovating and unlocking opportunities for young people to learn and discover what they are capable of.
For now, though, it’s time for a well-earned break.
Happy summer!
